The Philadelphia-based global media and technology company, Comcast NBCUniversal, was ranked 6th on the Top 50 Companies for Diversity. Companies were rated based on their diverse talent pipeline, talent development, leadership accountability, and supplier diversity.

Two years ago, Comcast NBCUniversal was ranked the 19th for diversity and rose to 7th the following year, a testament to the company’s dedication towards becoming a diverse and inclusive workplace.

“Diversity and inclusion are essential to the innovative mindset that ties us directly to our customers and audiences,” said David L. Cohen, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at Comcast Corporation. “It is this approach that has helped our company to be more creative, innovative, and successful.”

Several organizations in Greater Philadelphia are among those recognized as one of the Top 50 Companies in Diversity Inc.’s 2019 ranking, including KPMG, Wells Fargo, and TD Bank.

Companies throughout Greater Philadelphia focus on workforce development and retaining talent in our region, which includes having a diverse and inclusive workplace. Citizens Bank and CHUBB are no different; as each explains the vitality of exposing our region’s youth to potential career paths on a recent podcast episode of Growing Greater (season 2, episode 15).
